The ‘Antique Bronze Finish’ comes in both brass and copper and is exquisite and timeless. The exterior glows with a beautiful, golden brass hue and the copper has a warm, rich copper hue, feathering outwards from underneath a dark, rustic, bronze base.

Both interiors are a rich, dark, bronze-tinted metal. Please note: cheap, black paint is never used to darken the interiors of our cups like some of our competitors employ. Each cup is first satin finished (inside and out) to remove all spin lines and ensure a uniform, smooth matt finish. Using a selection of exclusive metal chemicals, each cup is then hand-tinted (inside and out) in three-five individual bronze baths.

Once they acquire a dark, uniform bronze colored exterior they are then professionally hand-rubbed, which creates a realistic, beautifully feathered age-worn Antique Bronze Finish. Once the cups arrive at the desired Antique Bronze Finish and are individually matched they are then triple hand-coated (inside and outside) with an exclusive, crystal-clear, protective, polymeric resin blend that is extremely durable, scratch and abrasion resistant. This clear, matt coating shields and preserves the Antique Bronze Finish and also insures that the internal colour will never ‘rub-off’ and discolour your manipulation balls.

All the Brett Sherwood cups are finished to the same exacting standards. The Brett Sherwood cups are intentionally made to appear innocent; in actuality, it took two years of countless refinements, using precision, computerized engineering to complete the design and development stages. The cups are made to the highest of specifications to enable an extraordinary ease in performance. This forethought in cup design allows most ‘moves’ to be accomplished in an almost effortless manner. There are no gaps in the base bead, which is unsightly and can accumulate dust and residue. Inside the top center of each cup can be seen the Brett Sherwood Hallmark Stamp of Quality, which signifies you have purchased the finest quality cups in the world!

The Twilight Finish is beautiful and enigmatic, instilling a dark and mysterious ambiance. The Twilight cups must undergo many laborious steps to achieve this unique, beautiful, dark-plum bronze colour. Each copper cup is first satin finished (inside and outside) to remove all spin lines and ensure a uniform, smooth matt finish.

The three cups are then meticulously hand-tinted, which sounds simple, but in reality it is very challenging procedure, because each cup must match the other two cups ‘perfectly’ (inside and outside), in both tint and hue. Please note: the tinting is not done by machine, but individually, by hand. Please also note: unlike our competitors, we at Brett Sherwood Magic never employ cheap, black paint to darken the interior of any of our cups, as this antiquated method is unrefined and obsolete.

To attain this rich, dark colour requires six separate layering processes to get the correct rich Twilight tint. Between each tinting layer the cups must be individually hand rubbed and prepared for the next re-tinting. Once the desired metal colour is finally achieved they are then individually, triple-hand-coated’ (inside and outside) with an exclusive, crystal-clear, protective, polymeric resin blend that is extremely durable, scratch and abrasion resistant. This clear, matt coating shields and preserves the deep Twilight colour and also insures that the internal colour will never ‘rub-off’ and discolour your manipulation balls.
